About and FAQs
The Lingo Dojo was created out of a love of languages and snacks!
We want to offer an alternative way to learn Korean that's engaging, useful and screen-free. We can't think of a better way to enjoy studying Korean than getting to enjoy treats straight from Korea while you learn!
You will receive lesson books, workbooks, flashcards, snacks, drinks, gifts, recipes, k-pop and k-beauty products and more!
We know apps are great for language learning but for Korean, especially when starting out, there is no replacement for physical learning materials to help you learn the new writing system.
Plus we've yet to find an app that brings you snacks to eat while you learn!
FAQs
What is The Lingo Dojo?

We also provide a new recipe card each month that will help you cook and try new, authentic meals. Members are part of a learning community and also receive recommendations to Korean music, shows and movies. Our Lingo Dojo tutors are also available to support you via email or Live Chat whenever you need us!
What's in the box?
Each box will contain two books: a lesson book with accompanying workbook. There will also be 10 flashcards, your first box comes with a handy storage tin for these! You will also have access to an exclusive playlist that goes with your box, to help you hear how native speakers pronounce the words/phrases you are learning. The box will also contain food, drink and gifts from your chosen country. These include noodles, teas, pouch drinks, sweets, crisps, stationary and other gifts.
Where do you ship to?

Why screen-free learning?
It's always good to have some screen-free time! Our books have been designed to keep you engaged and to ensure language retention. You can work through the books at your own pace, without being bothered by notifications or reminders. By focusing on monthly themes you will become confident with your new language skills before moving on. You will also build up a collection of books and written down material so you can look back at your progress.
What's on the lesson playlist
The Lingo Dojo playlist covers all the words and phrases you learn in the books. Throughout the books you are prompted to use the playlist to hear the words you are learning. The playlists are made by native speakers of your chosen language to help you get your pronunciation down! They couldn't be easier to access, a simple QR code scan and you're there- no streaming service or app is needed.
